Anolytech signs contract with Chick Master, one of the world's largest supplier of equipment for the poultry industry, with operations in over 30 countries.
The contract is long term and has an estimated value of SEK 70-100 million over the first three years.
It is a major technical breakthrough to create disinfection with just water, ordinary salt and electricity – efficient, environmentally friendly and without the risk of bacteria developing resistance. We see this as a powerful confirmation that our technology is mature for a widespread launch in several areas, says Catherine Ehrensvärd, CEO of Anolytech.
On Tuesday 17 April, the CEO of Chick Master, Robert Holzer, will come to Ystad Saltsjöbad for the official contract signing and official launching of the cooperation.
» "Bacterial counts in Blenta‘s hatchery have decreased by at least 70% since we at Blenta AB chose to use Anolytech’s method instead of strong chemicals”.
This translates into improved animal health, a higher quality product and a healthier working environment for staff. In addition, Anolytech’s method saves both time and money.
Since the Summer of 2011 Blenta AB, one of Sweden’s largest chicken hatcheries, started investing in healthier animals and improving product quality. Improved hygiene is key to achieving these goals, and so Blenta chose to invest in Anolytech’s technology. – Good references from farmers and many
scientific studies were the impetus for us to choose Anolytech", says Olle Persson, Production Manager at Blenta.
Improved poultry meat profits and environmental status with Anolytech in Marsvinsholm, Skåne
»Founded in 2001 Marsvinsholm currently has 80 000 chickens in 2 stables. The philosophy of the farm is that if the chickens are healthy the farm will also prosper.
Many measures have been taken to assure that the chickens prosper, including extra vitamins, well planned sleep periods and the installation of Anolytech’s Live Animal 2000 system in January 2010.
Spraying Anolyte on to the backs and tails of piglets
The tip of the month comes from Germany where farmers are spraying diluted Anolyte on to the backs and tails of piglets.
One of Anolytech’s German customers – a pig rearing farmer – tested what would happen, if she sprayed diluted Anolyte on to the backs of piglets. The suggestion came from Anolytech’s German Marketing Manager who picked up the idea while talking to Swedish pig farmers. The customer borrowed concentrate Anolyte from her husband’s cousin who had installed the Live Animal 3000 system for his poultry farm and sprayed diluted Anolyte 1x per day on to the backs of piglets in a particularly aggressive group. The results were astounding: (1) The tail bite wounds caused by “tail biter piglets” within the
group healed +80% faster than normal and (2) the piglet group became astonishingly passive compared to before the treatment. These results, which at first did not seem possible to the farmer, can be attributed to the special characteristics of Anolytech’s Anolyte, namely: (1) its extraordinary killing effect on all infectious germs and (2) its capacity to remove orders (e.g. hormones odors that cause piglets to start tail biting.
NEW PRODUCTS The newest product in Anolytech’s unique product range is a multi-functional control system, which can be used for several applications in animal stables, including a hoof, foders and hand spray systems.
