What is hypochlorous acid?
Hypochlorous acid is made from water, salt and electricity and is completely free of harmful chemicals, dyes or alcohol. Hypochlorous acid attacks proteins in the cell membranes of microorganisms and destroys them so that the cell breaks down and dies. Thanks to the direct mechanism of action, it does not matter if the bacteria are resistant or multi-resistant to antibiotics.
The acid has been used in medicine for many years and there are many scientific studies that confirm its effectiveness. Hypochlorous acid is classified in the EU as a biocide (EC1048, 2005AIII). Studies show that hypochlorous acid kills 99.9% of all bacteria and viruses, including coronavirus.
